MRA Multisport introduces “newbies” to the great sport and lifestyle of triathlons as well as help seasoned triathletes reach the next level in their race goals. A firm proponent of a work-life-training balance, we work closely with each and every client to provide the best triathlon training plan to meet their goals. We organize numerous activities and training sessions for our club members, and provide a variety of events throughout the year to keep people engaged in a healthy, active lifestyle.
Megan is the Head Coach at MRA Multisport. She is a loving wife, a caring mother to 3 young children and a yellow lab. She is also a Triathlete. A lifelong athlete, Megan had dabbled in triathlons for years, but got serious about the sport in late 2009 when searching for a challenging goal while “mixing up” the same old gym routine. She currently regularly competes in several local triathlons a year as well as cycling and running events too.
Megan is the Director of Aerobics and Fitness at the Whitin Community Center in Whitinsville, MA and currently holds the following certifications: USAT Level 1 Coach, ITCA Triathlon Coach, Mad Dogg Spinning Instructor, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, TRX Group Suspension Training, and CPR/AED.
While Megan focuses on the training and coaching aspect of the business, Alex leads up the event management side of the house and works to establish strong relationships with sponsors and partners for the benefit of MRA Multisport club members, clients, participants of their events, and the local community. 2013 was the first season MRA Multisport began to produce endurance events in and around the Blackstone Valley region throughout all 4 seasons. These events include, road and trail runs, on and off-road triathlons, and open water swims as well as numerous clinics in different disciplines. He was introduced to the sport in 2010 by his wife Megan and regularly competes in a variety of local endurance-based events. Alex is a USA Triathlon certified race director.
