***As of Friday April 7, 2017, the race loacation has moved from Hodges Village Dam to Douglas State Forest due to significant flooding at Hodges***
As of Saturday morning 4/8, the course has preliminary markings up so you can follow them around the course; a few have already done it and have made it back safely too! Just start from the beach area and follow the orange/black arrows; more arrows and W's will be posted throughout the week, but these will just further reinforce the course. Scheduled no-drop group rides will start at noon on Saturday and 8am on Sunday. If you show up for a pre-ride, follow the signs for Boat Ramp for parking.
The 6.8 mile course will start at the beach area, accessed via the 2 boat ramp parking lots prior to race day. On race day, follow signs. Laps will start and finish in the beach area. Coming up the main access road from the beach, riders will take a right at the top and then drop down the left onto Coffeehouse Loop alongside the overflow parking lot. At the bottom of Coffeehouse Loop, riders take a left toward SNETT. Take a right on SNETT and then take left 1/2 mile down into an uphill singletrack. Once back on the main fireroad trail of Streeter, take a left and continue straight onto Mid-State at the big fork. Take a right into the twisty uphill singletrack of Stud Finder (no trail signage at bottom, so just follow arrows). At top, take a sharp left and continue straight on Grand Trunk. Take left into flowy singletrack of The Spur, all the way down to SNETT. At bottom after crossing small bridge, take right onto SNETT, then take 1st left at 4 way intersection. Follow this trail which eventually merges with Mid-State towards the venue. Take the right down the hill to the beach area to start your next lap or to the finish line.
